About Us
Child Rights Activists in Iran (CRAII) brings together individuals from within Iran and the international community who are committed to advancing children’s rights. Our mission prioritizes children’s well-being above political, economic, or ideological considerations. We oppose injustice and inequality, maintaining that children’s rights are integral to human dignity and social justice. In this video, we briefly outline our objectives and goals.
Video Series: The Right to Childhood in Iran under systemic state violence
Protecting children is not about geography, politics, or diplomacy. It is a universal responsibility. This video series describes how the Islamic Republic of Iran systematically violates children’s rights through repression, lethal force, detention, and structural violence, while obscuring these crimes behind the language of “security,” legality, and order.
These videos expose the mechanisms used to silence the suffering of Iranian children and call on the international community to move beyond statements, resolutions, and symbolic gestures. From the streets of Tehran to the halls of the UN, the Right to Childhood must be our absolute red line that cannot and will not be crossed.
